What year is it? If it is an 04, there was a recall on the valve spring, ECU, that creates more mechnical noise in the motor, not to mention rough running at lower RPMs. The dry clutch sound is nice though.

Its a 05 St3 and I am now very used to the sound. I am truly happy with the bike. I was thinking the other day about service bulletins and whether ducati is required to issue them and if so where would I find a listing?

Thanks in advance.

If it's a 05, it has a Wet Clutch and it shouldn't be making any unusual noise from the engine area.

Just got my 05.........Great Bike
