This week, after 18k miles I replaced the stock spark plug wires with Magnecor KV85 wires. They're 8.5 mm diameter with the correct connectors, and they fit perfectly.
Three different types of wire are offered. I chose the KV85 wires. The part number for an ST4 is 2561 and they were $71 plus shipping.
Why did I replace them? Well there were no operating problems, I guess I just had $71 burning a hole in my pocket. But I will say that upon inspection the stock wires were kind of stiff and looked a little oxidized on the surface. And they didn't click onto the plugs and coils as tightly as I would have liked. The Magnecor connectors lock onto the plugs like Vice Grips.
While I was at it I added Denso Iridium spark plugs gapped at 0.040". It'll take a few long rides and some MPG calcs to see if the wider gap makes a difference, but I will say the wires and connectors are really well-made.
