Help adjusting fairing

I have an ST3 and needed to do some work that required taking off the fairings.

Now I that I am putting the bike back together, however, I can't get the front fairing to line up perfectly with the headlight. It seems like no matter what I do the fairing is a little snugger to the headlight on the right side (looking at the bike from the front) and there is a little bit of a gap between the left-bottom side of the light and the fairing.

The difference is not that big, but I thought I would ask to see if other people have had the same experience. Who knows, maybe they all come this way...

In any case, your thoughts would be appreciated regarding whether this is what all the fairings look like, or if there is a secret to getting the things on straight.
