that c spanner was ground down until it passed with the minimum of clearance to pass the frame.........take the black plastic box out and your brain....it helps.high technology.......not impressed............lucky the rest of the bike is good,wonder if other manufactures have their little foibles in the design department,makes me wonder........my father had a vincent series c black shadow,with cantilever suspension,so its not something new.in the 39 years he had it i dont remember him ever complaining and dinking around too much with all the settings,and this is 2004/5.........just a small point from an actual ducati enthusiast.......skol !!

Has he still got the Vincent?. They were along way ahead of there time those tasty machines. I guy offered me one for $8500 once, however it needed restoring.
