Forecast called for rain today, so I was taking the seat off my ST3 to get the bungees out to strap my rainsuit on the back when my eye was caught by all that unused space in the rear fenders. Yep, jacket fit in one side and pants fit in the other.

They make cool little bags that hang on the frame in those openings. Great for holding tools!
You dont need to buy the bags unless you are carrying small items. I always carry a small water bottle on one side and my power commander resides in the other.
