50k miles, New wheel bearings, cush drive, clutch, belts, valve adj, cam timing check, tps set, all fluids...etc, etc..
Might as well paint the wheels:
Those wheels look GREAT! And you have a 748 too? Must be nice... I'm saving up for the day Ducati puts the new Monster with the testastratta engine into the ST chassis and bodywork. Add lightweight wheels and carbon fiber bags, and they get an order from me right straight.

I've been wondering about wheels - are the c/f ones okay for street riding? Can they take the occasional expansion joint and pothole? I know a racer had one fail but have we seen any other failures?
Forged aluminum look to be the toughest, with forged magnesium being a little bit lighter. Both are less expensive than c/f.
But I figure if I'm going to go lighter why not go all the way and get c/f as long as it's reliable for sport touring and general road riding.

The C/F wheels are probably just as damage-prone as magnesium wheels. The choice is totally financial, IMO. They ARE light. I put Marvics on mine and am glad I did it. It matters. I use the bike primarily for track events and ride it on the street once in a while. I'm not sure that the lighter wheels would be worth it to me if I used the bike entirely on the street.
