I was looking forward to some changes, but a 1098? No thanks, the 2V 1100 has plenty of grunt and easier to work on. I wonder what 150HP is going to do to the insurance rates. I think what the rumors are saying, most are going to be priced out of the market.

The photos are pretty inept. The bike is covered with tape and lap tops strapped on everywhere. Definitely a 4-valve motor though.

It will be the same engine as in the Streetfighter.

Is it huge, or just ridden by a jockey?

BMW GS and Moto Guzzi Stevalio competition I'll keep my Multistradaits a heck of a lot smaller and more nimble.

Same size. Ducati employs two test riders, one is like 6 feet 12 and the other is a midget, like the shimp above. They do that to test ergos for different body sizes.

I see.... 1098? isn't there a 1198 engine that just became available? I bet it'll have the elcheapo suspension and brakes too.....

Dear Mr. Ducati, get your shit together!!!! 848 and 1198 4V engines or 800 and 1100DS 2V with DECENT suspensions and brakes. Or don't bother....

BTW, what do you know....?????

What I've been saying for the last 6 years since I sold the Gran Canyon....

Just when you thought the Multi couldn't get any funkier looking

I'll keep mine and just pop for the piston kit cams and ecu and maybe update the wheels with some Hypermotard wheels

that means used multi's should be even cheaper....

I spent the summer on one in 05...what a great bike. MUCH to my surprise, the 620 was still a lot of fun, even at 180lbs before gear!

I prefer 2-valve motors when touring, air-cooled even better. These 4-valve, water-cooled, radiator-clad machines do not do anything for me while touring, and would probably be more likely to be disabled by small 'incidents' like a radiator leak, punctured oil filter, etc. Those rubber timing belts are so 1980s technolgy.
The 150+ horsepower is not needed either.
I'll stay with Moto_Guzzi.
