Default Multistrada Rearsets

I worked the Kyle Racing Booth at Laguna Seca a couple months ago & in talking with quite a few Multistrada owners I found there was a huge desire for rearsets. Well Sato Racing has intentions of making them, but we need some information from you guys in what you need from the rearsets mainly:

1)What are the ideal positions?
2)Does the stock position need to be included?
3)Are these more for racing purposes or just more adjustment for the street?
4)Should the passenger portion of the peg be included or would you prefer just a solo set for one rider or maybe the passenger pegs could be a bolt-on extension like they did for the 919 919.org Sato Frame Sliders page

I will check back for replies as they are posted, but it would also help me greatly if you could send me an email lordduckhunter@gmail.com & please try to not get too fancy with your requests. We want to give you a very functional & aesthetically pleasing product for your bike so let us know what it is that you really need from these rearsets.

Thanks

Mike

I have a Multi and I'd have to say the stock rearsets do lack a bit. For one they are too low--they need some adjustability. Also, they are very slippery, like all Duc stock sets. They need some teeth to grip your boots better. I use the passenger sets to hold my paniers so my bikes a mono anyway. I think the DP catalog has some Ti one at $2500! So cheaper would better.

Default Sato rearsets

I'd love to have a "fully adjustable" set for the multi.

Sure hope this thing happens.

BTW, I linked this thred over to Multistrada.net :: Home in hope of drawing more intrest to speed up the process.

Thanks for working on this development !!!

Hopefully I'll be getting a Multi soon and when I saw this thread I got excited until I saw the price Can you make one without the bells and whistles? I can see spending $350 to $400, otherwise I'll take a file and crosscut the end of the pegs to make them sticky.

I just bought the D&D (Ducati Designs LLC) touring pegs with the adjustable feature. I converted both rider and passenger pegs, they are very nicely done and sticky as you want. At this time I have the non-adjustable D&D pegs installed, I liked the stock position a little better. I suggest you check them out.
