Default New Multi 1100s

Hi All

I have just ordered my new MTS1100s (black), which i pick up this Friday, and am wondering about opinions on exhausts....do not like the Termi's, but have a Zard on my 749s which i love...my concern is the Zard for the Multi is basically a 2 into 1 system, and that will lose that typical ducati "twin" sound...am thinking about the Arrow race headers and mid pipe which is 2 >1>2 in a similar way to my 749 Zard system, and only need to decide on a can/pipes... anyone had experience in this ??? bear in mind bike is black, so carbon can/s would probably suit...or something that does not stick way out the back of the bike..???

Maybe Sil is what you are looking for. It is available in carbon and it sticks out less then most others like Arrow.

Sil Motor Ducati Multistrada 1000/1000S Full Exhaust System [2442*] - $1,783.95

Hi, thanks but not fussed on that "blunt" look of the Sil, like the Arrow cans they remind me too much of the originals ....if Arrow made cans that looked like the Remus would be happy, as the Arrow is almost 2>2, with a small crossover/balancer in the middle... i think these would retain the best "ducati" sound..?

Regards

Michael

Check out Ducati.ms thread regarding a full system install on member Raffy's bike. Its under the Multi-strada as "Modding has started". Raffy also bought a black 1100SDS and had the Remus system installed and jet coated the exhaust pipes black. Awesome. He later took the baffles out and had the bike re-tuned and dynoed. 72.02 torque and 87.14RWHP. Wow, I remember the power on my SS, it had Remus slip ons with chip. Not bad for a 2V, the 1100S must be impressive.

If you are thinking about a full system for both combined power and looks, I would highly recommend exactly what Raffy did, including the jet coating. If you have any questions regarding his upgrade, shoot him an email, great guy.

Hi John
Thanks, i had already checked his post out, and the bike looks fantastic, although after looking at the the systems around, have decided to stick with the Zard...i already have a Zard on my 749s, the Zard people, and the guy here in Australia are great to deal with, they sound awesome, and look great...more important, Zard delivers what they promise, and the system has the CO sensor for the 1100...will have it coated, either ceramic or hi temp (satin black) and think i will be very happy with it..

Thanks to everyone for all their advice and help!

Regards

Michael
