Termis vs start probs

A good friend has just put Termis on his 1000DS. Since then he's experienced trouble with starting it when the engine is warm, but the ambient temp is cold (5-8 deg cels) It seems too get too much fuel.Any suggestions? Revised starting procedure?

Did he get the dealer to reset the TPS, when the exhaust was installed? Does he have a power commander? If no, did the dealer play with the trimmer at all?
