Question MS-SS ECUs

Folks:

Does anyone have any idea if the STOCK ECUs on the SS1000DS and the Multistrada are interchangeable?

I'm hoping they have the same part numbers...??? It would make sense that they are...???

They are not interchangeable. On a Multistrada the fast idle and idle speed are controlled by a stepper motor which is driven by the ecu.

The SS1000DS uses a manual lever for the fast idle.

You can go to the Ducati.com website and download the parts catalogues and compare the part numbers.
