I know this is a stupid question but does anyone familiar with my Foggy think it's material for the show? I might also have gINA BY THEN. That's a Monster built by Norman Brown. Phil

The Foggy yes, sorry but by definition Gina wouldnt, I dont believe they let Mark Savory show the Monster Chopper as it wasnt a "true" Monster. Although it is really Fing cool!

Phil- Enter it but don't get your hopes up. There are some real nice bikes at the shows so just making it to the show is a reward. the issue I foresee with your bike is that it looks stock and the judges won't get a chance to ride that badboy. also it's hard to beat a 2v bike that has been cleaned up. besides it free to enter and if you get in you got a free dinner and admission to the show for the weekend.

Slightly off topic but. . .

The Robb Report show in Monterey during the MotoGP had a Moto Guzzi "chopper." Does anyone have any info or images of this bike? It was pretty wicked.

Just as a reference, I'm not a chopper fan but that thing was sick!

Back to topic.

My understanding is, that as long as the bike is registared as a Monster it would qualify for consideration. I know Norm's bikes are built on his own frames so that would be grounds for a disqual.

Well thank you everyone. I'll consider it but I think until I have some more cosmetic stuff done I'll put it off. Now what to do next. Phil

Phil,

The contest isn't all about bling. Stewart, the guy who won last year and rides with the Monster crew in SoCal, built a bike that's almost anti-bling. IMHO.

It's one of those bikes you might not give a second look initially but once you start looking the stuff he did was very understated and enhanced the nakedness of the Monster. All the wireing is hidden. Old school touches where possible and slash cut open header exhaust to name a few. Oh, and the dry clutch on a 750 lump. Very cool but not screaming. LOOK at ME!!!

You've done a lot of stuff that takes the performance of the bike to the next level. Not just a bunch of CF and an open clutch cover that does nothing for the bottom line. Don't sell yourself short as the mods you've listed are pretty impressive in the realm of performance and a touch of bling as well.

Good Luck.

Phil- You have lots of time to decide to enter so don't make a decision yet. If you would stop buying bikes maybe you could do the cosmetics.
