Default throttle plate setting

Anybody know the setting for throttle plate in degrees after you have set the TPS with them closed? Bike is 2002 M750. You're supposed to turn the idle screw to set the opening. Somewhere between 1.3 degress and 2.3 degrees. Thanks for any help.

Your bike has a non linear TPS. The 620, 695 and 800 engines have a throttle angle (t.a.) of 2.7 degrees resulting in a 1,300 RPM idle. Set the TPS sensor to 420mv and see where your t.a. is. The t.a. isnt important, on this model, having the idle set correctly is. You will need to re-sych the throttle bodies and reset CO's, at each header, when you are done.
