Default Adjusted the ride height link...too much??

New member here, Ive had this bike for about a year and its been sitting for the last 3 months. Coming off an 05 sv1000 I really missed the monster, in comparison I can fling it around like a toy... Anyways last night I put on new sprockets and chain. While I was in there I said what the hell and pulled out the ride height link. 1 side was seized it seemed like and the other I threaded out about a 1/2''. I got it all back together and holy shit it raised it alot. So much that the kickstand doesnt look so sturdy anymore.

1. I really want to keep it as is because I feel I gained alot of ground clearance. Is this ok?
2. Is there any other suspension settings I should play with? I feel like im getting more rear end squat... maybe stiffen that up...
This forum is great TIA for any help
