Default Putting in a slipper clutch

Anyone out there retrofitted a slipper clutch into there bike. I am thinking about putting one in my 94 monster and want to know it it is a big job.

It's not a big job if you have the correct tools. You'll need a breaker bar or impact driver to get the main nut off - it has a lot of torque on it. To do this you'll need a clutch holding tool so the basket won't spin. After that is off there is nothing else that is very tricky.

You will need a caliper to measure the clutch plate stack height. Also make sure you have a manual with the torque specs for each nut and bolt.
