Default Front heads, V2 & V3??

I need to replace the front head on my 2000 M900 Fie, it's stamped V3. Will a 1995 900SS front head stamped V2 work? or does it have different valve sizes? I'm just using the head casting, I'll be changing the valves and using the original cam, rockers, etc.
Thanks a lot for any advice you can give me.

Thats a good question. My vert cyl. head is stamped V2 and the horizontal is stamped V3, on my 2000 SSie. I'll look forward to some insight on this as well.

Yes my rear head is stamped V2 as well, but what I'm talking about is the horizontal head. I have the opportunity to buy it but I won't if its not a match for my engine, and rear head.

Valves are not the same, V3 are smaller valves.
