Hello everybody, I am getting ready to list yet another Ducati Monster exclusive onto E-bay. Just as I did my Foggy paint set a few months back, I must still pre package my items so I can properly price when shipping. It looks like they might go onto the block late next week if everything goes good. What I'm I selling? Well, I have two things, Swing arm extensions for an S4 and the Swing arm itself. A friend of mine, who has been drag racing bikes since he's been a kid, just opened a machine shop near Oley PA. He has made these extensions from "solid billet Aluminum" on one of his CNC machines. I've been talking to him for about two years now about extending a swing arm I purchased off of E-bay and he said, "Why don't we just make extension for your swing arm?". I said "Great, but I already purchased a swing arm." He said, "Well, give it to me so I can get the proper demensions and when we have the program made to machine these things you can either sell it by itself or I'll make an extra set of extensions." I said, "Great, yes, OK."
So, when I purchased the swing arm the listing said "Monster S4" and/or "ST 2/3 series" bikes. Now, the dilemma is, do I list the swing arm with the extensions or do them seprateley? The extensions pictured in the swing arm have the final machining done. The set I have seprately still must be hand filed to ensure a snug fit. E-mail me at lonnie.stroble@lmco.com if you have any questions. Thanks Lonnie
So I says to him back "Hey, Lama lover, hoe, how about a little something, you know what I like, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, wow, hugh, don't stop, but when you finish, on your bed, you will receive total shame." So I got that goin' for me, which is dice."
Hey, I must say I see your view point but, Monster owners are different people right? The type of rider who likes to own a different style bike. Maybe someone out there would want a different style Monster that can maybe be a little quicker of the line? I know my front end comes up so quick I have to let off my throttle. You know what this does to your rate of acceleration. I hate being passed by my friends on their Harleys. Hey, I’m waiting on a new chain, which should be in soon and on my bike by the end of the week. I’ll post pictures and give a little description of the changes I notice. Nuff said.

My point was ads belong in the perfectly good classified section Dave was so kind as to provide. Everyone else seems to get it

Hey now, Ducman851, be nice. I know not what all that lama stuff was/is. Your right, I should have put these things in the classified area. I will, once I get my $(!# together. For now, I'll just send you this picture of them installed on my Foggy and tell you I don't have much riding time on the new extensions, but so far they seem nice. The bike was too responsive for me before. I would turn my head to look at something and the bike and I would drift very quickly. I know its probably my riding ability but, it still nice that it doesn't drift so much. The front end still comes up a bit but now as much as before. Good thing I didn't go from that 15 tooth front to the 14 tooth. I'll be doing that soon enough. Enough said.
Peter's quote, "And I was lucky enough to come across a complete set of bodywork (front fender, windscreen, tank, seat, and seat cowl) from a 2002 S4 Foggy in pristine condition for less than the price of a new tank. The titanium badge on my tank indicates that it is number 17 out of 300 Foggy Monsters produced."
I wasn't as intrested in maximizing my profit as much as I was intrested in someone who truely wanted the set.
I took my first true ride this past weekend and I want to say I love the way my bike handles now. My wife and I went from the Reading Motorcycle Club (Oley Pa) to the Fly'in Aces Motorcycle Club (Rockport PA) which is about a 50-60 miles trip. We went up to the Aces for breakfast. From there we went down into the little switzerland of PA, Jim Thorpe. We went to Molly Maguires for a beverage and then up to Flaggstaff for the 100 mile view. Sorry, the battery in my camera was dead when I picked it up in the morning and I didn't have time to charge it. I know that's not a long ride for most but on this bike I like to keep it under 100 miles each way. I did put about 140 miles on the bike Sunday and I think I should try to lower the rear about an inch to an inch and one half. Oh, plus reset the damper settings. The bike simply stays more straight until I put more input into the handle bars. I'll keep you undated if intrested. The front end will still come up but you must be on it. See YA.
