You can get up to a 190 rear on the 01 M900

The 999 wheels will not fit without a bunch of modifications.

The 01 M900 ie has a 22mm front axle and a 17mm rear axle. Any of the 5 spoke designs from the Monster S4, or ST series can be made to fit. It may require you to replace the wheel bearings depending on what bike the wheels come off of.

I hope this helps.

01 Monster has 25mm front and 17mm rear axles

Most 02+ monsters and ST series have 25mm front and 25mm rear axles.
Bearings can be swapped around but changing the spacing on the cush drive to get correct alignment is difficult. It is better to stick with a 17mm rear wheel.

Im on the process of putting a set of 02 S4 wheels on my 01 M900. Im going to be machining spacer to take up the difference between the 17mm axle on the bike and the 25mm bearing.

Front is a straight bolt on.
