Default S2R Guard

Waiting for my '07 S2R-1000 to arrive. Noticed that SSS Monsters don't have rear mudguards/huggers stock. I'll probably get the DP Carbon Mudguard. Any experiences with it? Is it necessary? My biggest issue of not having a mudguard is cleaning up chain lube that's flung off.

Use chain wax. It goes on very wet. Let it cool/dry overnight and it stays in place pretty well, Also cleans up very easy with Honda polish
