Default Help! Need help fixing / replacing Rear Brake Caliper and Rotor

I just got back from a 1300 mile trip and my rear brake is shot! I rarely use it and did not notice until I was over 1000 miles into my trip!

The brake pads rubbed against the rotor and fused the caliper disc onto the brake pad.

I found a used rear caliper from a 2000 996. Will it fit my 1994 Monster?

Where else can I find a replacement?

Thanks!

i've got a caliper in regular working order + a rotor if you still need 'em. drain your current system, install these bits, fill, bleed, and run.

a potential cause of your problem may have been air in the brakeline. air expands of course as it get hot which could've pushed the pistons of the caliper out to drag the pads against the rotor while you were running along. rear-wheel-lock-up is the worst-case scenario, not that you got off easy

lemme know if you need the parts.
