DP ECU reference for Monster ie 2000

I have found the following ECU EFI control unit (just writing what is written on the unit)

Is is suited to my Monster Sie 2000 ? Is it a Performance or a standart ECU?
It is for use with DP cans and KN filter.

Looks like it might be the standard unit, but those ECUs are reflashable. So that means someone could have sent it to someone to have it reflashed or you yourself could send it out to be reflashed for your application.

This is on my 2001/2002 MH, it has the Monsta bit blackened out, I am unsure of the differing numbers, maybe bradblack could help on that, my one is adjustable as they have trimmed the fuel settings on the mathesis, I believe they can be flashed as well.

I run the PC111 USB now to correct the mixture.

Any updates? I have a computer that came from a Supersport, but they're interchangable (right?). It was supposed to be from a 2000:

On the back where the plug is it says:

Modello: Supersport900 USA
Calibrazione: Ducati 003

Then written vertically in very small numbers what looks like a part number:

432 1 248 1c

I just receive the ECU.
On the front side, something is hidden with black ink after "Ducati". On the back side, there are the following instructions "Modello:Supersport99 CEE, calibrazione: Ducati 001" (and "Ducati France" written with a pen). So I have no idea if it is suited to a 2000 Monster...
I have found another ECU which has a red sticker on it with "Ducati Performance"written on it and the following reference: 09148...The seller bougth it especially for his 2002 Monster but he does not know if it is suited to a 2000 model...Any idea?

I tried a 900SS ECU on my bike when we were trying establish its fault, the bike would start and cut out straight away so it is my beleif that they will not work, I am assuming the ECU was good as the 900SS did run with it.

There are 2 basic types for Ducati:
15M.A0 - the early 98-99 type
15M.A8 - the 2000 and later type.
The two types are not interchangeable because they use different pins on the wiring harness for the fuel pump, and they have different air pressure sensors. However any A0 type can be reflashed with any other A0 type map (ie 98 900SS or 99 750SS) and any A8 can be reflashed with any other A8 map (ie 2001 M900 or MHe, 2000 900SS).

This is done with our UltiMap UMD program which many dealers use. Contact BCM for flashing info.
