Default 900s loading up?

Sorry if this topic has been covered, but I couldnt find it in the search. The deal is a guy I ride with has a 2000 Monster 900s with Forza fast by ferrachi pipes, an open k&n filter, and a pcIII (non-usb). The problem as he describes it is there is a slight off-idle hesitation. Also, he says the front cylinder is loading up because the bike is breaking up and running crappy. He is using the stock champion plugs. (he just changed them) Even after changing them the problem came back after a little bit of riding. He arced the plug to clean it and it ran well for a little while but then the problem re-appeared. This is on the front cylinder. Also, when the bike is running crappy, if he pulls the front plug wire there is no change. However, if he pulls the rear plug wire the bike will die. Any help would be appreciated. We are trying to figure out were to start. sync throttle bodies, bad map, other???
Thanks
Kevin

I would start with the TPS setting and balancing the bodies, next important thing is the air bleed screws to make sure they are set correctly.

The other thing to do would be to get the coil output checked as well as testing the front HT lead, may sure there are no loses in there, you have then nailed everything on the outside, with the bleed screws you can set the CO levels but this only affects the idle and immediate above, this could impact on the slight hesitation off idle, it sounds to lean there so with the PC111 you could set it slightly richer at the bottom then compensate it by using your bleed screws.

Best done with good equipment to all of the above.
