Andi, I probably missed something here but what are you gonna do with this headlight? I know you've got something up your sleeve, perhaps a MH900/Monster Evo...?

I have a project bike on the go, gonna call it Malattia, it is Italian for Virus or Sick, it will be finished in a month to six weeks and I will post pics of it then.

MH IS getting a new dash tho, SPA dash, arrived in NZ today according to customs.

Bought it from http://www.pegasusautoracing.com, these guys where very very helpful and helped me with what I wanted

Very cool Andi, can't wait to see the finished project.

On another note, does anyone have any feedback on the lighting power of this headlight set-up? Is it like the lighting on the 748/996/998 headlights?

I don't know how it would compare to the SBK but it has 55 w high and low, the bigger "eye" is the main beam and the smaller spot is low beam.

Will let ya know once she is wired up, I have it mounted now and am making an Alien chin to suit it, Dave Rs S4R has one, although it is well finished it lacks a little bit underneath it IMO, he may be able to spread some more light (excuse the pun) on the subject.

I looked at those too but they don't have the speedo/tacho in one unit with is what I wanted and I like the white faces [PC Statement, the lighter coloured NON dark one]

http://www.spa-uk.co.uk/design/tachometers.htm

This from the SPA site, go to the second one down under Combined Tachometers | Speedometer and it tells you all about it.

if you can at the time you are ready to connect this up to your bike. take lots of pictures of the connections(tac cable and the speedo cables). im interested in how hard or how easy it would be to switch to this setup. thanks.

No worries oneducs, I have a harness plug organised so it can go straight back into the loom but by the sound of it it may be easier to go direct with their bits and pieces supplied.

When it arrives here I will put some pics up.
