Default Banjo Bolts and Clip On Install?

Trying to install my Vortex Clip ons on my 03' 620 and need to slightly change the angle of the banjo bolts to get the levers and resivoirs back on.

My question is this, if I lossen these bolts, just enough to change the angle, will I have to bleed the entire braking and clutch system?

I'm sure a little fluid will leak out, but was hoping that it wouldn't affect the systems to the point of having to do a full bleed. Maybe just add the fluid that leaked.

If anyone has any input into the istallation of these clip ons I'd be grateful. Did a search and wasn't able to find any concrete info on the actual install. Help!!

Greg, you should be ok. Just don't accidentally pump the levers while the banjos are loose. It would be a good idea to put wet rags on the tank, or whatever is under the banjos, while you work. I always have a bucket of water and a rag handy in case I drip fluid on the paint.

If you slowly pump your brakes as you loosen, adjust, and then tighten the banjo bolts, fluid will be forced out and no air should leak in. Only loosen the bolt slightly. Just enough to move it. You will need to be carefull with the leaking fluid as it is corrosive to paint. After all is said it never hurts to bleed/change your brake fluid. It is a quick and easy service to keep your brakes strong.

don't actually "pump" the brakes, just slowly apply pressure, if you let off, air WILL enter the system, as long as little pressure is held (in which case fluid will escape), there will be no air sucked in.
