Default Ducati Rearsets Question??????

I purchased a Ducati rearset off of E-bay and now that I'm installing them I'm finding a few things I have questions about. Does this require a return spring for the brake lever like the original stock set has? How do you mount the brake light switch? The micro switch mounts to the original through a taped hole.

Sometimes yes on the return spring.

On the brake switch, some rearsets do not make a provision for the switch and you are either forced to make your own to get switch to work or using some sort of pressure swith to replace the banjo in the brake line.

Could you tell me anything about the return spring itself? I will look into the inline pressure type brake switch. The rearsets are Ducati P/N 96601AAA and when I purchased them off of E-bay, they didn't come with a return spring. Thanks.

not sure about those but some (CCats for example) don't have a return spring, pressure only. It actually works pretty well.
I think you can get a switch from an 851/888 for the brake light - not sure. Still need to do it myself...

I ordered a hydraulic pressure switch banjo bolt today which takes care of the brake light problem. I think I found whats hanging my brake lever up. Since I chromed the rearset, the chrome added to the thickness of where the push rod is attached and I must machine the opening in the push rod. Then I hope I don't need to add a stupid spring to the my shit. Thanks for your help.
