yer gonna need an 8mm alen key and two 2x4's. amazingly, that's really it!
don't have a how to but i do have some pics. the jist of it is as follows. yer gonna need a buddy. measure the distance from the grabrails on your frame to the swingarm. cut two 2x4's to that length + 1". with the bike on the sidestand or swingarm stand (doesn't really matter but a swingarm stand's more stable), lift the rear of the bike by the grabrails to unload the suspension. then have your buddy stuff the 2x4's between the grabrails and upper surface of the swingarm (don't get your fingers caught!). let go of the frame and confirm stability. should look something like this (you'll want the seat off for easy access):

another angle:
unbolt the shock from the suspension rocker using the 8mm alen and let it lean against the rear hugger or rear tire (if hugger's removed). then pop the rubber plug from the swingarm's left side where the tie-rod and shock meet. feed the 8mm allen key in there and remove the bolt that secures them both. pull the shock out. my tie-rod's also removed in this pic but its removal is not necessary for a shock-swap:
drop in the new shock, bottom first and reinstall that lower-bolt to secure. if it's the same length unloaded as the stock shock unloaded, the suspension rocker will line right up. if it's not, you're gonna have to dance around a bit with those 2x4's to get it right but be patient and don't let the rear down without the shock bolted into the rocker abruptly (may break the tie-rod?). when you get it lined up, reinsert the m8 bolt and "ta dah!"... you'll then be free to remove the 2x4's and setup your static sag, etc...
ps - removing the rearsets and mufflers will of course give you more room to work. i know you've got c'cats on, but for those with stock footpeg assemblies, be sure to do this using a swingarm stand cuz when that left assembly comes off, your sidestand is not supported!
