new pics posted... CF tank and modified frame are painted.

hey gang,
just wanted to share a couple pics. nate weiner of "frosty's finishes" took care of my carbon tank and modified frame last week and i finally got a chance to upload some shots. i'm back to work as the bike's pretty much set but when i get more time again with the camera, i'll snap some completed pics of the bike to share as well.

nate's really funny to work with. gives way more info abou the painting process and selection of materials than i even know about (not being a painter myself) and although i pretty much crapped my pants when i saw the final products, he's never satisfied with his own work. amazing!

That is one fly tank! I had thought about getting a CF tank for the s4, if I had I was going to paint it with pretty close to the same theme, but reversed. A CF racing stripe down the center and the dark silver paint that is currently on my s4 on the outsides.

nice work on the swingarm pivot mount very clean.

in a word.... WOW.

much much improved ffom the previous paint scheme.... which i thought looked great! you'll have to detail the challenges of getting that frame together.

that' sweet. are you gonna enter it in the monster challenge? i noticed a really high number of monsters with carbon seems to win.

Looks awesome!! Were did you get the old style ducati logo's from? Were they painted on, or are they decals?

thanks! decals are from "http://www.xtremedecals.com/". great prices, very decent service and the decals applied very well.
