S4R Question

Hi All - Does the S4R come with a Steering Stabilizer? If not can a aftermarket be added?

hope this helps, ohlins has a r/t steering damper side mount. scotts has one also but mounts on the triple clamp i think, there are many different brand names out there but i like the ohlins or the scotts.

Ducati Performance offers one for on top of the tree. Ala superbike.
I'm sure it costs twice as much as the ohilins.

the DP steering damper is made by bitubo. good stuff but definitely overpriced. matris makes some gooddampers at a fair price, check them out.

i got the Ohlins sidemount damper.
model sd154,
i mounted mine right above the bottom triple on the 54mm fork and other end clamps to frame tube which on my 01m900 is about 23mm diameter. perfect fit. great damper.
i got mine at spareshack uk about 2 years ago. about $us300 to 350 but dont remember exactly.not sure if sd154 would fit new S4R frame or fork tho... email me if you want to see pics of it mounted
