Is there anything about the kickstand that doesn't suck?

I've repaired a few of them over the past two years -- PITA to be honest to fix properly after damaged. I know one wasn't damaged from doing the kickstand turn thing, it was damaged after the Monster was transported to/from the Monster Challenge finals in Florida. It appears the bike was transported crosscountry resting on the kickstand and strapped that way. The vibration/torque of the straps did the rest. Please transport your Ducati without the kickstand down!
