Default Where can I get a...

...mirror mount for the right hand side (brake master) Brembo goldline on my 2000 M900? I picked up a set of '05 OEM mirrors and discovered that the mirror mount on my goldline brake master is reverse threaded but the mirror is not. I checked Yoyodyne but his website didn't list one.

You might try e-mailing Stuart at Spareshack. His site is under some re-construction and updating right now, but he might be able to get you an adapter for the mirror mount.

Does your mirror have those adaptors at the bottom which they can unscrew out of? Thus rendering them "normal" ??

Just tap it out with a right hand thread tap, thats what I did on the S4 right hand mirror mount. Still plenty of meat to get a good fastening.

No, the threaded insert in the bottom of the mirror post seems to be brazed on. There is a threaded collar that will unscrew, but that doesn't take the threads with it.

I'll put this in my pocket as a last resort. Thanks for the tip!

Why not just order one from your local Ducati dealer?

Tried that, but noone has one in stock and there was this notice at Bikebandit.com:

"Ducati has CLOSED their North American warehouse and all parts are now shipped directly from Italy. Average delivery time to ALL US dealers is now 1 – 3 weeks. Ducati parts will take longer than BikeBandit.com’s stated average shipping times due to these delayed deliveries from the manufacturer. Please allow up to 10-21 days for shipment."

Yoyodyne didn't have any of these in stock either.

I thought dealers were successfully getting 3-5 day shipping on parts?

I thought this the case also, but even BCM said they had to order them and wasn't sure when they would arrive. Yoyodyne had none in stock and figured at least a month before he could get any.

took just over two weeks for SS main bearings, and a few other assorted bits.
I'm just glad they had them in Italy...
