Default Opinion needed on header color

I'm thinking of getting my headers on my S4 coated. It's a 2001 red in color and was thinking of doing them in Satin Red

or just Flat Black, or wrap them with dark exhaust wrap.

I have a set of Arrow carbon slip-ons on it if that matters.

No on the red! Go black or Ti color.

Semi-gloss black. You will quickly be sick of the red on the headers. Save that for silicone coolant hoses, etc., if you have either a red or a Senna model S4.

Ever see red headers on a bike?

Me neither. I say do it. If it looks like crap, hit the ends with some hi-temp flat black paint and then cover it with the dark exhaust wrap.

I still haven't sent them off yet. Any other opinions. I would like it to look diffrent/cool. Just afraid of it looking stupid.

I think that those concept bike look cool.

I always like the Britton with the blue pipes.

Here is what you do – go get some cheap flat red spray paint and paint them. If you like the look (post pictures) then get them done in red. If not, send them out and get them done in silver or black. You know that they will have to chemically strip or blast the surface to prep it for the ceramic coating anyway.

That's it. I'm doing it. I'm going to paint the old set and not the new ones. It'll take a few weeks. Got a lot going on.

Thanks,

Try the Red knapp 717, you said you wonna be different so just do it, worst case is you do not like them and change em back.

I reckon it could look quite good!
