Any pictures or price? I bet it'll be up there, and I guess if it has fresh styling it might sell better.
I didn't like the 4V motor for the streets, and since I plan to buy a Monster, which seldom will see above 100 mph, I'm going to get either the S2R 1000 or Triumph's Speed Triple. Thanks for the info.

Looks the same; hard to justify 15 large. And a 10/5 spoke wheel combo seems odd indeed. Might be a photoshop job. Will find out in November, I guess.
Thanks buddy.

This is not a real pic, this is a "photoshop" (the engine is recognizable as a desmoquattro whereas the real bike has the deep sump testastretta).
The real bike seems to be really amazing.
Everything i've listed + "several surprises" (as said by my dealer who have seen the bikes pic presented to him at magny cours for the last SBK race).

My guess is that your going to have to wait until the November Bike show in Italy.

I have seen several bikes purporting to be the new S4RS - but I don't think any of them are the actual bike, based on my sources.

The naked 999 shown in another thread is definitely not the new bike - it will look more like the traditional Monster.

Sources say it will have the deep sump testatretta motor, Ohlins with radial calipers, perhaps the same SSSA from the 998 or Multistrada (rather than the trellis swing arm used on the current S4R).

We'll see who's right later in November!

I guess Ducati R&D finally found a solution to the Monster's leaking battery issue...

That's not a battery but a computer for data acquisition.

We're both right:

My sources at DNA tell me it's a sulfuric acid leak sniffer and corrosion detection logger.

Unfortunately, it's default setting is to always deny any problems...
