Default Ducati Performance Air Box Project

I’d like to personally thank MHe owner Alex, #1936, for providing all the info I required to duplicate my own DP Air Box. The air box I’m referring to is the one that came equipped with the $3,000+ Termignoni Exhaust system.

Last year, I missed out on the group buy for the Ducati Garage Air Box Kit. As I chose not to go the K&N pod route, I recently posted on this & similar forums inquiring if anyone had a new or used Ducati Garage air box kit to sell. Alex responded to my posts & encouraged me to construct my own DP Air Box. He also offered to provide me photos of the Ducati Performance Air Box installed on his MHe.

With the help of Alex’s photos, tips, & some quick basic cuts with a dremel on my own stock air box, I was able to duplicate the DP Air Box.

Alex's DP Air Box is the top photo, & mine is the bottom photo.

Thanks again Alex for going to the trouble of removing your bike’s bodywork (which is no easy task on an MHe), and providing needed photos, & advice. Your assistance is what makes Speedzilla such a great forum.
