Default Sport Classic Exhaust choice.

Hi All,

Being the owner of the only PS in Northern Ireland I've no-one to talk to boohoo.
Interested to know if anyone on the site has fitted another aftermarket exhaust rather than the Termi's? ie Zard etc. Just like to find out what delivery and the quality of all the options available are.

TIA Barry.

Previous exhaust threads have discussed the Zard as well as the Staintune, both of which are not yet ready for delivery (June maybe?). I, for one, don't like the look of the Termi's so I'm waiting for an alternative, but we haven't seen one yet.

I have a set of Staintunes on order. Hopefully, they'll be here in the next couple of weeks. I'll post as soon as I get them on and road test them...

I like the way the full Zard system shows off the swingarm, all the others (and stock) hide it. However, my local dealer tells me he has been unable to contact anyone who distributes them in the US and I hate to spend that much money for a box of internet parts. I've ended up with some awfully expensive boxes!!!!!! The one from Japan is the most intriguing.

Except for the Ducati Performance pipes, I haven't heard any feed back.

Ciao!

Default Staintune

AZ Scott,

Has your Staintune exhaust been delivered? If so, what are your impressions or thoughts? I am a new Sport 1000 owner and can't decide whaich exhaust to mount. I want to be patient, but at the same time I would like to unleash some L-Twin melodies.

Chris

Nope, still waiting...

I've had the dealer try to check on the status, but apparently Staintune isn't saying anything. It's getting a little frustrating. Especially when I'm riding next to Jessica with her Zard-equipped Paul Smart. My Sport sounds like a lawnmower next to hers!

Default Staintune

That has to be frustrating waiting so long at this point. Hang in there and hopefully the exhaust will arrive soon. It should be worth the wait based on the photos.

I understand about riding next to another bike with pipes too. My cousin has a 900SS with twin termis and I can't even tell if my motor is running.
