Hi peeps, a friend of mine is selling his BRAND New sport1000 due to financial reasons 170km all stock $15000 CAD firm. Save yourself freight/pdi and taxes(PST for Ontario residence ONLY).

FYI, that's about $13,400 USD. Umm, ouch.

Yeah, a 90-cent Canadian dollar hasn't stopped Ducati (or any of the other manufacturers) from charging us a 30% premium. Better than last year though, when we paid 40% more for most models.

The price being asked is only so-so, since list price is $13,995 and the 7% federal tax is $980. So, it's basically like getting the freight and PDI for free, but still paying provincial tax. I hate to say it, but I think this guy is going to have to come down a bit on his price. 170 km isn't much, but new is new and used is used. By the time a person pays the PST they will have over $16,000 in the bike, and I think you can almost make that deal on a new bike at a dealer if you try.

Saying BRAND NEW is a little misleading. Even if it's only got 170km, if it has been driven off the lot it's used.
