mh900e - westco batteries - cheap, but good?

ciao all -

just ordered my second pair of westco batteries for my mh900e today ... the last pair gave me a little over 1 year of life.

at $97 for the pair, shipped and with tax, they are not expensive, but i wish they would provide a longer life than they do.

good news ... my new pair of westco batteries arrived today ... very fast in shipping.

bad news ... measured the voltage of both batteries right out of the boxes: one had 12.67 vdc which is good, the other had 11.72 vdc, which is not good.
installed the pair, tried to start the bike ... no start, just starter solinoid clicking.

have hooked up the battery tender plus, and will charge them overnight to see if they both come up to voltage.

had same experience last time i ordered westco's ... when the low battery would not come up to full voltage after a charge, westco folks shipped me a replacement right away, so i am not too worried, as they seem to be great at customer service and stand behind their products.

i will advise what the outcome is in a few days.
