Default MH900e Gauge Cluster

Would anyone know if it's possible to use the tach from a MH900e on a non MH900e late model Duc? Specifically, I would like to use the tach on a custom 2001 900ss project. Can I simply use the tach signal from the harness to feed into points of a mh900e tach input?

I am not sure, the plug to the wiring looks to be the same, given that the MH Speedos are fragile you may want to do some proper investigating first or you could fiz it.

Without being a stick in the mud here, this is the Speedo I am fitting to the MH, very good quality, probably better built than the MH Speedo but not quite as nice to look at, the MH ones do look real good.

hey Andi, so what will you actually use to mount this- I like the idea, just not sure what it looks like in 3D. Any pics of one fitted to a bike?

Nearly there Monster Man, it had more than one wire so I am stumped

I have made a new dash retainer out of 1 inch plate so it didn't break (going for my heavy road users now ), the unit is 80 mm dia and 30 mm deep so it is very compact.

I fabbed the holder retainer from 3 mm alloy, did a brush finish to give it the expensive billet look and it is off for anodising, it has shitloads of function but as yet I am to discover the operation of all the bits.

Will get some pics up soon, just been crook with the flue and it has been -5 deg C outside so progress in teh last coupla weeks has been slow.

yikes- just the opposite here, 39 celsius (102) all week. I like the idea of shelving my cluster to prevent any damage and using a functional one. Keep us posted
