Default Hello

I'm a new user from Madrid, Spain, got a yellow Sport 1000, I have seen this forum browsing to find exhausts for the Ducati.

There are not so many places where to discuss about this bike at the moment, so if you allow me to join you, I'll be so glad to participate.

Thanks!
Jose Luis.

Good stuff man, beautiful bike too

I absolutely love the spokes wheels, I reckon the MH should have had those from factory as well.

Thanks!

I love this bike, I'm waiting for some Rizoma parts: silver open clutch cover, back pressure plate and silver belt covers.

Will post some pics when I have them, I expect to receive them from Italy this week.

Another thing I want to install as soon as I can is a scottoiler, used to have one in my Monster and it's really useful.

The more I look at the Sport, the more I like it. I think it is going to be hard to convice someone to purchase a Monster with 1000DS motor when you can have that baby!

JoseLuiz, when I see your lovely yellow sport it reminds me of what a difficult choice I had between the Paul Smart and the Sport 1000. It looks awesome! But even better, it doesn't just look good, the DS1000 is a truly sweet motor too, IMHO. Welcome to the group. And I look forward to getting any information you find on that new Zard exhaust.

Hi AussMax, I understand you, I was in the same situation a few months ago, but I love the Sport colors and I decided to go for it and upgrade the Ohlins afterwards, it's better and easier, than painting the chassis and the whole bike. As you can see in the thread we are talking about the Zard, there are companies making parts to make the sport look like the Paul, in fact I'm waiting for prices from an Italian maker on this.

For me the perfect combination is a mix of both bikes...

The gold ohlins will be a nice touch. A Paul Smart-style fairing, but yellow and black for your bike maybe?
