I ride a 2003 SS1000 anda BMW R1200GS. I was at Eurosport in Ft Worth last week and saw a customer's Paul Smart with the stainless Termi 2 into 1 full system on it. He was taking delivery and I was in a trance looking at it.
I ride my 1200GS as a daily commuter, errands, long distance, etc. My 03 supersport is my play bike, track days, good weather toy.
I made the statement to my Dealer while looking at the PS1000 that day that I bet there would be a snowball's chance of getting one of these bikes and he responded that I could have the next and last one of 3 he had ordered 2 years ago.
OK, decision time , panic, wringing of hands, what to do, I'm standing there looking at basically the same bike as my 1000SS only in much different clothes, and it is supposed to be "limited" number available, and it would be pretty cool to continue to ride the snot out of the SS and have a PS around to look at and ride when the mood strikes and possibly have something to keep for 20 years and enjoy.
The next thing I knew the little man on my shoulder started taking control and I was buying a PS1000LE.
When I added up the the full Termi SS 2 - 1 system, plus TTL, dealer set-up, full MSRP, the out the door price was about $800 less than my math and I commented that that sounded like a great deal and shook hands on it.
Now I'm waiting for a bike that is "on the water"
YoooHoooo.......Man I feek guilty for not paying and waiting 2 years like most had to.
If it eases your conscience, you can ship it out here and for the next two years I'll periodically reassure you your bike will be here "any day now"...

You just made a huge mistake!!! Call the deal off immediately! That exhaust is not what you expect. It's not SS, it's titanium.
I'm just messin' with you. Congratulations. I finally got a look at a PS1000LE on Tuesday at CSBK in Saukville, WI. What a beautiful bike. Please post pictures when you can.

You could have felt even more guilty by going to AMS (Alvarado, TX) or to ExImport (Houston) and buy one off the showroom floor. Really, the only reason I'm not going to either place today and pick one up is because it would make me feel so bad
Enjoy your new baby when she arrives and hey, maybe we can meet up some day some place half-way Wise County and Spring, TX to compare bikes. If you ride the PS1000LE, I will ride the MH900e , if you ride the GS, I'll ride the R100R

I would enjoy getting out and riding up that way. I've seen someone on a Hailwood riding by himself a few times on some roads in west Wise Co but I have never met him. Seeing him enjoying a very special bike like that is one reason I am excited about the PS. It isn't really about anything except how it makes you feel inside.
As far as Jeff and the entire Advanced Motorsports crew, First class bunch I say! I have done business and track days with those guys and wish they were closer to my home. Tony at Eurosport has always been more than fair and honest with me so I enjoy the relationship with my dealer. It is fun place to hang out and BS with a lot of great folks, so maybe I wouldn't even be getting a PS if the opportunity from Tony didn't come up.
[QUOTE=amarzano]what the PS lacks to the Mhe in terms of originality and styling, it makes up for in comfort and power..
Actually, I'm remembering seeing the PS for the first time and thinking how the styling appealed to me more than the MHe. The MHe is no doubt one of the coolest bikes ever built IMOP, it does not appeal to me as a throwback, old style bike because of the very contemporary styling of some major visual bits.
However, I have a 2003 SS1000DS that I would gladly give you today for a MHe
