Default Malattia's Dyno Graph

Ok, found it from when we dynoed het, it was still in my laptop pocket!!

Peaked out at 77 necking braking horsepower , she runs much smoother now and does not mumble and fumble like it used to.

It now does 250MPH in first gear

Andi,

Malattia has the equal-length headers and the gutted & shortened camp-stove, right? What about the intake? Stock airbox, pod-filters? And do you run the PowerCommander or just the stock ECU?

Very much to my surprise, #225 touches 78hp with stock headers, staintunes (no baffles) and std airbox with K&N-style airfilter conversion. Maybe it's all the additives in the smoggy Houston air?

Heya Ron, yeap, got that, gutted pipes, eqaul pipes, pods and stacks, everything is right for making more grunt, this engine started at 63 HP when I first had it. 8-(

Interestingly enough, we did a dyno run about 1.5 years ago doing the std v eqaul system, the equal length headers only made about a 1.5 HP REAL difference, you will hear all sorts of claims about HP but I suspect they are downhill on a good day etc.

I think too that maybe Mal's engine is still not 100%, we will never know that show of spending gold on her and I am not prepared to do that.

What I want is to be able to ride a good few sets of tires off her first 8-)
