Default Headers are complete

All,

Staintune has completed work on the headers, and seems to be pricing it fair, althogh the official price hasn't come out yet. Looks like it'll be a month before we can actually get our hands on a set. Here's the response I got from Staintune. Cheers, Brian #1807

Hi Brian,

hmmm the drums are beating, yes finished last week and into production and your right trying to get all the info done prior to telling everyone, but I'm also trying to finalise our 2006 catalouge and a whole heap of other stuff.

Horsepwoer gain was not what we expected with only 5Hp on the dyno, but a much better rideability factor, snappy throttle etc, and the sound is improved...hmmmmmm nice

I hope to have it finished first week back as are on vacation from today. They should retail for $ 600.00 Australian about
$ 450.00 US Matt has his set on the bike which was the proto and he's very happy.

I requested that they go through Calmoto (CBT Imports) our distributor so you can buy direct from the US and Shari will be doing you guys a special price which we have discussed but not finalised.

Must dash, thanks for the reminder and I wish you and your family all the best for the season.

All the best

Ricky

Pictures, please .............

One thing Matt (the guy in AU who has lent his MH900e to Staintune to fit the headers) wrote, bothers me:

..... the front pipe now goes down under the dummy sump, the rear pipe also goes under the sump and bends around and joins the front pipe(2 into 1) then they go back up to the end cans and split again just as they are joining .......

How will this look on the MHe's sans faux sump??

Did I already ask for pictures?

Merry Cristmas

Hmmm, my thoughts exactly, the MH with the high pipe sets its aside and is an attribute worth keeping IMO.

Happy new year guys, hope Christmas was good to you
