Default Staintune Header news

Well, it seems Staintune is having some problems fitting the header to the bike. The one week project is going to take 3. We should have some news by next week.

I know first hand what they are going thru and yeap there is a stack of time in getting it right, the area in which to build the system is tight and gets worse with wheel travel, there is not a lot of room to manouvre.

Good to hear it is making progress though.

By now, it's a nine-week project already. What's the word, if any?

I know with my pipe the going gets tough through the swingarm, I softened my rear spring preload the other day as we where going to bumpy teritory.

I noticed that the right hand side has a very slight mark on the pipe where it has rubbed, the rear did bottom out a coupla times and I suspect this is when it did it as the normal travel is fine although there is FA room left when the wheel is at full compression.

There is another way of doing it as pictured below, not as pretty IMO.
