Just a quick note here, although some of the members here may not necessarily agree what I have done with my MH,I believe I have the right to do with my property how I see fit and particularly given its past even more so.
It would appear that "Dave" on the Yahoo group and on Speedzilla (Not Dave holm that runs Speedzilla)is the sour grapes MH Police.

I like your MH personally, and whats it worth to have any motorcycle,car,boat etc.. if you cant personalize it and make it different then everybody else.
I was a bit dissapointed with the first MH I ever saw what with the plastic engine cover/fins and the like. Yours looks OK, and I doubt the MH police have a jet to fly out where you are and to force you to return it to stock.

wow I've been surfing car related bulletin boards since the internet started hosting them, and I can say I don't think I've seen many personal attacks like that. It takes balls to send an insulting e-mail to somebody dissing their creations. I've gotten only a couple hatemails over the years from my site, but was at least able to talk sense with the people and see why they complained in the first place. I didn't agree with them, but at least they didn't call me names!
I'd say don't take it personally, but that's hard to do in that case

Unfortunately there are conceited and self-righteous zealots (like 'deimh') who think it is there rightful place in this world to belittle or lecture others for building something unique and different. Your "Malattia" is a cool Ducati and now is "Andi's one-off special based on a Ducati MH900e" -- nothing more or nothing less. Did it affect the prices or collectability of the MH900e's in this world -- no. Are you happy with the bike now -- yes. Did you take a lemon and make lemonade from it -- definitely. Will you probably create/modify more Ducati's in the future to your own form of self-expression -- I believe so.
I've dealt with my fair share of these self-righteous Ducatista zealots in regard to my Ducati-powered MotoCreations bikes. But the way I figure it, the thousands of positive comments, e-mails, forum postings and reactions from Ducati loving enthusiasts from around the world vastly outweigh the negativity of a few small-minded individuals along the way like this one.
And if the zealots like this one are hateful of "Malattia" -- I guess I will cause them all to have hopeful heartattacks in the future with another project of mine in the works...
deimh is only one of a few that I can count on my left hand that have boo hoh'd my bike, that I am fine with and I expected.
deimh is the only one who has taken it to a personal email slinging to me, whats more I tried to send him an email back to ask why the daggers but no, he has a block on his email so you ca't send him anything, talk about tough behind the screen, the reality is it does not affect him one bit.

Hoswever, not to jump on the bandwagon here, I think that you need to chill matie! Not everyone has to like you bike, and if you plaster pics all over you must be prepared for someone not liking it - and saying so.
To be honest I have also followed your responses on the other Boards too and you seem to be a little out of control. So he calls you a clown and says that the bike is crap - so what my friend???? Just like BimotaGuy said, he doesn't seem to have been overly offensive in any way at all - but you have been calling him a "dick", "wanker", etc, etc - and I am not sure what "have a nice gay life means"!! There are others who do not like it, cool, I did not build it for them, but I do not carry on and personally and publicly attack them for it, that does not make a clear passage for him to keeping swinging at me over the emails and net hence I thought if I showed what a wanker he is by doing these he might shut the **** up and go somewhere else.

Agree, I went public, my reasoning is after so many crappy emails from him I thought I would show the people that we hang with every day on these boards the brothership an affection he is showing toward me
One does get sick of being pasted time and again with the same old crap from the same old person, ribbing is cool, cheap shitty shots is not.
As long as he wishes to kep making stabs at me I will continue to show his affection to the brothers, I am not a nasty bugga but one who wants to enjoy the forums and ride my bikes.
