Default Post up pics of your brake and clutch mc reservoirs

I got both brake and clutch Brembo RCS master cylinders for my 749R and will be mounting them soon.
But i still have to get the supports for the brake and clutch reservoirs and figure out how to intall them
So please post up pics of your if you have any aftermarket mc's installed to help me decide how should i mount them.

BTW where can i get the reservoirs supports?

Thanks

What do you mean by support?
A mounting bracket? Or the fluid reservoir?

Brembo Radial M/C & Cyclecat bars which were supplied with brackets that bolt onto the inner end of the bar, clutch side is the same - you could do similar with stock bars, the brackets are only bent pieces of aluminium.

That's it, thanks
But did you had to drill a hole on the inner bar or was it already there?
I have the stock bars and don't remember them having a hole there

Ben i meant the mounting brackets, just didn't knew the right word for it in english

Ok, here´s some I came with up:

These brackets are available from your Ducati dealer. I think I still have one. They mount to the handle bar. I don´t know if yours do have screws where the 916 does? If you do, I can send the bracket to you to try it out.

I have seem people taper a whole in their top yoke. Not liking drilling the yoke though.

Thanks Ben
But the stock 999 bars don't have any screws there

Here is another way. I know "drilling" the top yolk is not appealing to some but I've done it this way since 1994 on my new 916. An engineer friend from Lockheed/Martin assured me a 6mm hole presented no structural compromise if deburred properly.

The Cyclecat bars have a hole there for the eccentric that adjusts the angle, on stock bars you'd need to drill & tap holes.

Tiago,

I found a pic of my 999´s clutch master reservoir.

Maybe this is your solution:

A wire bracket.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions, guys

I hear you ductime, on those holes not affecting the top yoke structure, but i really want to avoid drilling it.

Ben, can you please take o picture of that wire bracket form another angle?
And where did you get that black frame protection (the plastic piece on the pic)?

Sure, I´ll go down into the garage in a while and take some pics for you.

The frame protectors are were on the bike when I bought it. I had them on my other ducs as well, bought from Befaster.

if I were you, I´d make them myself. It´s just a piece of PVC which incorporates the shape of the frame on one side. Approx. 30mm thick, has 2 grooves for zip ties. Can also be fixed with two sided (carpet) tape.

I´ll take a picture for you, as well.

Brackets were supplied with Rizoma reservoirs and flat rubber washers to dampen vibration:

its by active japan
999/749 dedicated 1/7 throttle unit
the stock ducati one was absolutely horrible, with way too much side play
the active one is totally tight.no play what so-ever.

keep up the good work man!
maybe you might be interested in my exhaust.its a full titanium japanese system, copy of the corse one(cost 3000us though)but very light and sounds like a moto gp bike now!
top end is unreal, just have to do something about the huge hole at 6000rpm when it gets cool enough to ride!
but the fit is perfect though.quality is as good as moto corse...i have never seen such a beautiful finish on titanium(and i have seen many many japanese titanium systems)

sorry for the shit photos.i have vista now on my pc,and i fuuking hate it(no decent resizer)
