Advertising pic? (my 1st ride out on new 996)

(this is Soulsedge, but i'm in maine...couldn't remember my password)

So yesterday i finally got her registered and insured and such, and took her out for my first ride (well, first legal ride that was over 2 miles).

I took about 52 total pictures (lol yes i was enjoying myself)...went 200+ miles. When i got back my hands were just a little bit numb (not bad).

Anyhow, on my way back i decided to put her in neutral at the start of a nice little road, coasted along, pulled out the camera (no cars around) and snapped a pic. To my surprise it turned out to be quite nice. Soooo, i added some text and a Ducati logo...and here is the finished product...post comments, etc Personally i think i missed my calling in advertising (perhaps for Ducati) lol.

Wife said it looked like a poster you'd buy. Was quite a first ride

If you decide to copyright that photo and sell it, I'll take one off your hands. I'd like to have a large one, maybe 24 by 36, if you decide to do it.

heh. flyer, i've had a few people ask me that now.

i dunno how to go about copyrighting it, and i dont even know if i would want too. Its more of a hobby.

i was just taken back, by how well it captured the moment and how i was feeling on that first ride.

Feel free to take the pic, and get it blown up if you wish.

I've got the same vision when tears are about to drop from my eyes while riding ...

Very nice. If you'd like it reworked with anti-aliased fonts and a semi-transparent Duc logo (read, Mac goodness), I'd be happy to assist.

i've got photoshop back in Canada(but not on this computer) at the lake home here in Maine.

When i get back, i planned on doing just that, playing with it a bit. but i doubt i can make the semi-transparent logo.

Great Photo, just be careful if you plan on trying to copyright/sell it with someone elses copyrighted logo on it!

I had no doubt that the photo/photoshop was your work, but the "Ducati" logo is a registered trademark, which you wouldn't be able to copyright I believe.

maybe do something with the side mirrors reflection??
