Default Camcorder on the Duc - McClure Pass Colorado

Plenty of track videos here. Haven't placed a street one in awhile. If interested, here's an ascent of McClure Pass (Hwy 133 in the heart of the Colorado Rockies). It was part of a three trip with several others to the western side of the state. This is a sweet Pass with stunning scenery and an outstanding road...

I'm using the cheap (free) Microsoft Movie Maker software. Can download at microsoft.com. Not bad for free. Simple to use and effective enough for web-based vids, though I am looking into other softwares to see what I'm missing.

BTW, I'm on a fully loaded, heavy saddle bags '02 ST4s trying to keep my friend ahead in sight while gawking at the scenery

I'd be real interested to know what you find. As far as free software goes, that's pretty sweet. 4 mb though!

The rider I'm following is on a Blackbird, and he moved out from New York taking a pay cut to ride out here. According to a post I saw him leave at another forum recently, he said it was totally worth it.

As for IT work out here... I think it would be a challenge, though there is a lot of IT employment out here. A mini Silicon Valley so to speak in the Tech Center and near Boulder, as well as Colorado Springs.

Nero, there were four of us climbing McClure from Paonia on Friday June 24th, though we were well separated with myself and the XX Blackbird I'm chasing in front. Probably wasn't us. BTW, I passed a black Multistrada somewhere the past 3-6 days, can't recall where since I've been out on two wheels a lot lately. Been wandering the state... maybe towards the Front Range or south?

I miss colorado so bad it hurts. As soon as I'm done with my stint in the military I'll walk back there if I have to. Your videos sure keep me going and remind me that my little heaven in the rockies is still as beautiful as I remember. Thanks

Man, nice one....

Cut the width of the road in half and take all the guardrails away and you've got the Rockenhausen area of germany.....That vid of yours brought back some memories....

If/when I get the dosh for another host I'll put all mine back up.

Thank you very much....

I've seen vids from the area and yes, narrow and shoulderless roads! Just watched this video again and this time simply enjoyed the scenery on the east side of McClure Pass. Fantastic.

That's from a band named Zeke. They're loud and angry.

Scott, I see you replied to me on the MP3 request. Song #2 is from Foo Fighters... Everlong. I need to look up #1 however and ask. It escapes me!
