Wow, that is beautiful. I can't believe that it's in such great shape Congrats and enjoy...I'm a bit envious.

How many miles on her? She looks unbelievable! (Like she just rolled off the showroom floor.)

That thing is so yummy, wishing I could get my wife to close the deal on letting me get a SKB project going. (Shhhh, I've been hiding cash in a can buried in the backyard)

I was going to do the same thing but found this at a price I could not turn down. I plan on doing this bike up fully the way I want it. I have a set of 5 spoke March's now. Powder coating them black And this winter I will do a full resto-mod!!!

Your bike is beautiful. It is SO clean! Do you mind saying what you paid? I'm afraid to ask as I paid $6k for mine - gulp.
I just bought a '95 916 3 weeks ago. 18k miles. Needs considerable more work than yours. Low-side on the right and needs a little bit of tlc all the way round. She runs great and Palomar last weekend proved an absolute blast on this bike.
Some basic service and new paint and it'll be back to new. Currently getting a major mechanical overhaul, timing advanced, etc...should run very nice when it's done. Goes to paint in two weeks.
Here's a pic:

Beaut bike ... IMO the 916's look the best, and would be the model I'd want over the 996 and 998.

Thanks man. There's something classic about the 916. I like the history behind them. Also, finding little Cagiva clues to it's true racing heritage is fun
