Default my new project 748

picked this piece up the other night from a friend's cousin that couldn't afford it anymore. it has been neglected and abused. it needs alot of work and in time i will have it done. i have compiled most of the parts that i need, but i still need the left side fairing stay, front rotors, brake side headlight, a yellow rear seat, and misc fasteners.

yes they are painted yellow, you can also see the rusted rear rotor. the caliper had no pads in it when i got it.

also need a new windscreen.

bling

this bike is basically going to take the place of my rc51 for the street and let me convert it to track only use. so if anyone has any parts laying around that they want to sell let me know stexastj@yahoo.com

How many miles are on it? Did the guy have any clue as to the shape of the rockers? By the looks of the rear tire it appears like the guy did some extensive throttle testing.

it has around 9k miles on it. he actually had all most of the service recoreds and drives nicely. handels like a turd cause of the tires, but the engine sounds good. i changed the oil on it today, cleaned the clutch out and ordered a vented cover. i'll probably take it to the closet dealer here soon and have it serviced.

I think that I'd be more worried about what was put on the screen ...

Are those the original nubs on the sides of the tires. Too funny. does it have those little neon light tubes as well?

paid 4k for it. and there were no neons on it. it has a taillight intergrator for the rear tail light so that is doubles as signals. and i cant figure out why it keeps blowing the 7.5amp fuse for the gauges. i am thinking its that intergrator box. if anyone has any ideas let me know please.

When does it blow the fuse? As soon as the bike is turned on? When you activate one of the turn signals? When you use the brakes? I had this problem once after I had removed the body panels. Every time I used the right turn signal the dash, signals, and other stuff associated with the fuse died. When I pulled the panels off I did not unplug the turn signals and tried to prop the panels up so as not to pull on the turn signal wires. Well the right turn signal wire pulled out a little and the + and - were touching.

He means stop advertising another forum ... it is called spam, and disrespectful to this great forum and Dave's efforts, etc.
