Quick question for you from Speedzilla. I have a 04 999 and can't figure out how to take the mirrors off. I'm afraid to experiment and mess things up. Few people said that I should remove the rubber covers. Underneath it looks like wires only. Weird pins and stud which I can see.

Rob

On the 999r, I am using a fairing stay from BCM. It was around $150. On the 749r, I am using a Ducati Performance fairing stay. It comes with a replacement wiring harness that eliminates all the street stuff. I just purchased another DP unit to put on the 999r. I will use the other one as a spare.

Thanks! The wiring harness was the big question, and whether or not it was worth it... Appreciate the answer!
