Default winter mods

Well, seeing the projects that everyone is working on filled me with enough confidence to start fettling in the garage this winter. a coupld before and afters. i'm soliciting ideas for a new dash, i'm more into modifying or making my own, over buying something new so i'm playing with an old superbike dash i got from strati so we'll see what happens. thanks as always for the advice along the way.

the stock masters really look cheap in comparison:

The front end now sports dual discs and a nice clean stainless line (thanks strati)

i need to bleed the front lines again before i can how differently the braking feel is, but they sure look much nicer

also took the snips and grinder to the hugger, can't justify the carbon fiber hugger just yet so i thought i would at least clean up the tail on the cheap first

I've "bolted on" a lot of mods, but doing it yourself is much more rewarding for me. The new masters look like they belong there. Very cool.

believe me, if i could i'd love a nice slick new dash, but i have a fiance who's much less understanding when it comes to these things.... so i make do with alot of hand me downs.

right now i really like the asymetrical layout of the 916 dash, so i'm working out some ideas with one of those. just a little nervous to pull my working dash apart and start fiddling with the wires, i've shorted this bike out every time i've worked with it

I second the 'doing it yourself mods' idea. Very cool when you come up with something that is exclusively yours and works!!! Nice looking project!

Just tell her it's the bike or lap dances... her choice

Cheers
